Standing at just under 4’ tall, Angela has a commanding and comforting presence. Often told by strangers that they can tell her anything, she takes pride in showing others how she sees them in place of the negative self-image they carry around. Angela combines her love for people, her natural gift for counseling and her passion for whole wellness in her Life & Wellness Coaching business, Purpose by Ang using the five areas of wellness. She carries a bachelors in Health and Wellness from Tulane University and certifications in Life Coaching, Health Coaching, Nutrition, Personal Training, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Crystal Therapy.

Being a person with dwarfism she understands the struggles of marginalized communities and fights for equality, equity, accommodation and advocacy.

Angela Singletary is also owner of A Little Perspective - a communications company with the focus of advocacy for all humans with a disability.
Angela regularly conquers her fear of public speaking by addressing crowds with the intention to motivate, educate and inspire. She interviews local, national and international guests with a focus on disability awareness on her podcast, A Little Perspective. You can find it on YouTube, anchor.fm and Spotify.
In her advocacy book series “A Little Perspective” she brings awareness through real life stories of various members of marginalized communities. Authors contribute their experiences in their words to bring true awareness to the world.
The first publication in the series, “ALP: Real Stories of Little Ladies”, is a collection of chapters written by women with dwarfism about their real life experiences pertaining to their life as a little person. Women with dwarfism face very unique challenges in dating, social settings, growing up, employment and even in the day to day activities. These stories are unedited and raw accounts first hand from each of these women and their particular struggles and, naturally, their overcoming these challenges. It is our hope that these stories bring true awareness to the needs of the dwarfism community and help affect true change to improve equality, equity, accommodations and advocacy.  These stories will also serve as encouragement for women of all sizes, shades and shapes around the world.
“ALP: Special Delivery – Stories From Pregnancy to Toddlerhood” is a collection of chapters written by parents of children with dwarfism. These stories cover the time period between pregnancy through toddlerhood. Most children with dwarfism are born to average height parents at a rate of 80%. These stories cover parents’ various experiences from diagnosis in utero to medical complications their children have faced. With so many parents not having a medical history or even direct experience with someone with dwarfism, it is our hope that these stories bring knowledge and information to others who may find themselves in a similar situation
